On Thursday, February 8, 2024, Ontario sent 4,552 invitations to apply for permanent residency in a general and targeted draw.

In an Express Entry Draw, Ontario sent out 2,118 invitations for provincial nomination under the Human Capital Priorities (HCP).

Profiles in the Express Entry pool created between February 8, 2023 and February 8, 2024 with a primary occupation in one of the 15 tech occupations and a CRS score within the range of 471-480 were targeted in this round of invitation.

3.  NOC 21220 – Cybersecurity specialists
4.  NOC 21221 – Business systems specialists
5.  NOC 21222 – Information systems specialists
6.  NOC 21223 – Database analysts and data administrators
7.  NOC 21230 – Computer systems developers and programmers
8.  NOC 21231 – Software engineers and designers
9.  NOC 21232 – Software developers and programmers
10.  NOC 21233 – Web designers
11.  NOC 21234 – Web developers and programmers
12.  NOC 21311 – Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
13.  NOC 22220 – Computer network technicians
14.  NOC 22221 – User support technicians
15.  NOC 22222: Information systems testing Technicians

A total of 1,182 invitations to apply for permanent residency in a general draw was issued under the International Student Stream to profiles with a score of 78 and above.

Furthermore, 1,252 invitations to apply for permanent residency was issued to profiles with a score of 73 and above under the International Student Stream in a Healthcare and Tech targeted OINP Expression of Interest draw.
