Ontario invites 1,533 candidates for PR in 4-OINP draws

On Tuesday, July 16, 2024, Ontario sent out 1,533 invitations for permanent residency in 4 Ontario Immigrant Nominee program (OINP) draws under the Foreign Worker, International Student and In-Demand Skills streams.

Invitations were sent to all eligible profiles created under these streams between July 16, 2023, and July 16, 2024. The In-Demand Skills stream considered all eligible occupations, while the International Student stream focused on 41 healthcare and 104 priority occupations.

British Columbia sends 66+ PR invitations in latest BC PNP draw

On July 9, the latest BC PNP draw issued over 66 invitations to apply for permanent residency. These invitations were sent out in both general and targeted rounds.

British Columbia has been holding these weekly draws consistently. There have been no interruptions in this regular schedule.

Since the start of its participation in immigration news, B.C. has maintained an unbroken streak of weekly draws. This consistent effort reflects the province’s commitment to its immigration program.

In a general draw, 35 invitations were issued, including those for 35 tech occupations. The cutoff score was unchanged from the previous BC PNP general draw on June 25.

Additionally, 12 invitations were sent to profiles with experience in 39 healthcare-related occupations. Furthermore, 10 invitations went to those with experience as early childhood educators’ assistants or instructors (NOC 42202).

9 applicants with experience in 25 construction-related occupations were also invited as part of British Columbia’s new category-based draw, introduced in late 2023.

Ontario invites 1,666 candidates for PR in 2-OINP Draws

Today, July 9, 2024, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued 1,666 invitations for permanent residency.

In a general draw, 1,556 invitations were sent out under the Masters Graduate Stream to applicants with an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of 54 or above. This score is two points higher than the cutoff in the previous draw on March 19.

Additionally, 110 invitations were issued for the PhD Graduate Stream. These were sent to applicants with an EOI score of 50 or higher.

The OINP EOI profiles created between July 9, 2023, and July 9, 2024, for both streams were eligible for this draw.

On July 4, 2024, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) sent out 126 invitations for permanent residency under the International Education Stream and the Skilled Worker Overseas category.

International Education Stream

Profiles that meet the eligibility requirements for the International Education Stream:
– Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 85

Skilled Worker Overseas

Profiles directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative:
– Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 41
– Ranking score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited: 709

Nineteen of the invited candidates in this MPNP draw had a valid Express Entry profile and a job seeker validation code.

British Columbia invites 72+ Candidates for PR in latest BC PNP Draw

The latest BC PNP draw, held on July 3, issued over 72 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency (PR). These invitations were distributed in targeted rounds, focusing on specific groups of applicants.

This draw is part of the ongoing efforts to attract skilled immigrants to British Columbia. By targeting specific groups, the BC PNP aims to address labor market needs and support the province’s economic growth.

In the latest BC PNP draw, 36 invitations were issued to tech profiles, 11 to healthcare occupations, 6 to early childhood educators, and 11 to construction roles, with the cutoff score unchanged from the June 18 draw.
