On April 17, 2025, the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) conducted its fourth draw in the year 2025, issuing 168 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the Labour and Express Entry streams. This draw focused on individuals who have been working and living in Prince Edward Island for a minimum of one year, as well as international graduates from institutions such as the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), Holland College, and Collège de l’Île.
As of April 17, 2025, the PEI PNP has issued a total of 401 invitations under the Labour and Express Entry categories. This figure does not include any invitations extended to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Labour and Express Entry Streams
To be eligible for the Labour and Express Entry streams, candidates must:

Have a full-time, permanent job offer from a PEI employer in an eligible occupation.

Demonstrate a minimum of one year of work experience in the offered occupation.

Meet the provincial settlement fund requirements.

Intend to reside in Prince Edward Island.

Meet the minimum language proficiency requirements (Canadian Language Benchmark level 4 or higher).
Additional criteria may apply depending on the specific stream and individual circumstances.
Next Steps for Interested Candidates
Candidates interested in applying for the PEI PNP should ensure their Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles are up to date and submitted in accordance with the program’s requirements. EOI profiles remain valid for six months and may be considered in future draws.
