The minimum wage of Ontario, Manitoba, Prince Edwards Island, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador will change from October 1st, 2023. All employers of labour are expected to adhere to the minimum wage set for all employees as anything contrary will be considered illegal and attract penalties.
British Columbia continues to top the chart as the province with the current highest minimum wage at $16.75 per hour and would be increasing to aan estimated value of $17.75 per hour in June of 2024.
