Manitoba invites 623 Applicants for Provincial Nomination in latest MPNP Draw

A total of 623 applicants were invited for permanent residency under all categories in the latest Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program of August 24, 2023.

178 invited candidates in this MPNP draw had a valid Express Entry profile as well as a job seeker validation code.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba – Occupation Targeted Draw

  • Number of Invitations: 256
  • Cutoff Score: 612

According to data by Statistics Canada, MPNP targeted profiles with their current employment based on high labour needs.

This Manitoba PNP targets occupations below major NOC classifications.

  • 73: General trades
  • 74: Mail and message distribution, other transport equipment operators and related maintenance workers
  • 75: Helpers and labourers and other transport drivers, operators and labourers

Skilled Workers in Manitoba: All occupations

MPNP profiles with all the occupations that were not selected in the above targeted draw were considered in this category.

  • Number of Invitations: 250
  • Cutoff Score: 646

International Education Stream: International students were also not left out as 63 Invitations were sent out to students graduating from designated Manitoba colleges or universities.

Skilled Worker Overseas

Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

  • Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 54
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 724
