Dear future neighbour,
Manitoba held its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on June 12, 2025. In this draw, 36 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to candidates under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream through Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
The lowest ranking score invited was 613. Out of the 36 invited candidates, 5 had active Express Entry profiles and valid job seeker validation codes.
Manitoba has been consistently targeting skilled workers overseas who meet the province’s labour needs. Recent draws show that the minimum required scores have been reducing, making it slightly easier for candidates to qualify.
This draw highlights that having a connection to Manitoba through recruitment initiatives is very important. Also, having an Express Entry profile with a job seeker validation code gives candidates an extra advantage.
Manitoba is expected to continue inviting candidates regularly, but the number of invitations may reduce later in the year as the province moves closer to its annual nomination limit.
If you’re planning to apply, it’s important to keep your profile up to date, connect with Manitoba employers if possible, and ensure you meet all eligibility requirements.
