On Tuesday September 19, 2023, IRCC sent out 3,200 invitations to profiles from all programs in a new Express Entry draw. This is coming after a long break since August 15, 2023. The CRS score increased by 35 points from 496-531.

A total of 80,948 profiles in 26 Express Entry draws have been invited by IRCC this year.

On Monday September 18, 2023, Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Honourable Marc Miller, announced the first targeted Express Entry draw for transportation occupations this week.

Canada’s express entry system has been made simple in order to provide a quicker pathway for specific expertise.

Profiles with at least six months of experience in one of the 10 occupations listed below will be the focus in this targeted Express Entry draw.

Did you know you could get 50 extra CRS points by getting a Certificate of Qualification in a Canadian province?

On Friday, September 8, 2023, IRCC officially updated the list of trade occupations eligible for Express Entry certificates of qualification.

The only thing needed is to get a certificate of qualification for one of the 101 occupations listed below; previous work experience in any of the occupations is not a necessity.

If you are currently residing in Canada with a valid Express Entry profile or are planning on creating one, you can enrol in one of these skilled trades programs. Once you have completed training in one of these trades, you can then write an examination to get a certificate of qualification from one of the Canadian provinces.
