IRCC is currently developing plans to introduce a new category for Express Entry draws in 2025, focusing on the following occupations in the education sector:
- Elementary school and kindergarten teachers
- Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants
- Early childhood educators and assistants
- Secondary school teachers
- Educational counsellors
- Instructors of persons with disabilities
