Alberta issues 35 invitations in May 8 AAIP Draw for Health Care Pathway

On May 8, 2025, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) conducted its latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw, extending invitations to 35 candidates under the Dedicated Health Care Pathway – non-Express Entry stream.

This draw targeted healthcare professionals to address the province’s ongoing labor shortages in the healthcare sector.

In 2025, Alberta received an allocation of 4,875 provincial nominations from the federal government, distributed among its different streams and pathways. In contrast, the province was granted 9,750 nominations in 2024 — marking a 50% reduction in the allocation for 2025.
