In the second Express Entry draw of the week, Canada invites 3,300 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) to apply for permanent residency. Profiles with a CRS score of 507 and above were considered in this round of invitation.

The tie-breaking rule is based on the date and time when candidates submitted their Express Entry profiles. If two or more candidates have the same CRS score, the candidate who submitted their profile first will be ranked higher.

There are several ways to boost your CRS score to stand a chance of being invited, see below list of possible ways:
- Language Proficiency: achieving higher scores in language tests like IELTS or CELPIP
- Educational Credential Assessment (ECA): make sure all your academic credentials are thoroughly evaluated to optimize your points
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs): check out different Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) throughout Canada, as securing a nomination can greatly boost your CRS score
- Job Offer: getting a job offer from a Canadian employer can add up to 200 points to your CRS score.
- Gaining Work Experience: having more years of work experience can help you get a higher score
Selected candidates now have 60 days to send a complete application for permanent residency to IRCC. Currently, IRCC processes Express Entry applications in about 5 months on average.
