Ontario issued 300 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) for provincial nomination in the new Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Express Entry draw.
Express Entry profiles created between September 7, 2022, and September 7, 2023, with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging from 308 to 434 were targeted in this draw.
Being able to speak French helps you get a quick Canadian Permanent Residency as only those profiles meeting the eligibility requirements for Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream were invited to apply.
French speaking candidates have a high chance of being selected in new Express Entry targeted rounds of invitations being announced by IRCC.
OINP French Speaking Skilled Worker stream eligibility
You must have valid Express Entry profile under Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) to be eligible for consideration in OINP French Speaking Skilled Worker draws.
Also, you must have an education level equivalent to Canadian bachelor’s degree or above.
Additionally, you must have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in French language proficiency test (TCF/TEF Canada) PLUS Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 6 in English language proficiency test (IELTS/CELPIP).
- Moreover, you must demonstrate enough settlement funds with one or combination of the following:
- funds as demonstrated by the balance listed in bank statements, or statements of accounts showing other investments such as non-locked in, fixed term deposits, mutual funds, etc.
- annual earnings from ongoing employment in Ontario
- a job offer in Ontario
