Dear future neighbour,
In the most recent draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), which took place on June 25, 2024, 250 invitations for permanent residency were issued. This draw specifically targeted skilled workers from overseas.
To be eligible for these invitations, applicants needed to have a minimum MPNP Expression of Interest (EOI) score of 516. The program aimed at individuals whose current occupations are listed among the specified categories.
The invitations were part of the Skilled Worker Overseas category. This draw highlights Manitoba’s ongoing efforts to attract skilled professionals from around the world to meet its labor market needs.
See below list of occupations invited in this draw:
- 31301: Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
- 31302: Nurse Practitioners
- 32101 – Licensed practical nurses
- 33102 – Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
This is among the lowest cutoff scores recently observed for the Skilled Worker Overseas category. In this MPNP draw, 93 of the invited candidates possessed a valid Express Entry profile along with a job seeker validation code.
