Hiring – Administrative Support Specialist

Location: Remote –

We are an immigration and education consulting company specializing in helping people achieve their relocation goals to move to Canada, as well as with helping students study anywhere in the world that they wish to.

We are looking for a skilled administrative support specialist who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the immigration and education consulting teams. You’ll also be responsible for correspondence, and social media correspondence management, invoices etc.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Directly report to the lead consultant
  • Prepare, draft and edit internal and external communications – reports, memos and emails, presentations.
  • Prioritize, identify and respond to emails and social media dms and redirect accordingly
  • Prioritize requests/tasks from team members
  • Prepare initial consultation and service agreements using provided templates
  • Prepare for meetings and send meeting reminders to clients, confirm the initial consultation agreement has been signed and uploaded.
  • Send correspondence after meetings depending on clients needs
  • Prepare invoices/ receipts and send to clients as requested
  • Create and maintain files by organizing and updating relevant documents
  • Request and update documents to client files for school admissions processing
  • Carry out weekly client follow-up as requested by lead consultant/education team
  • Other ad hoc tasks as may be assigned from time to time
  • To be shortlisted for this opportunity you will need:
  • To have a postsecondary degree in business administration or a related field from a recognized university/ college
  • At least 2 years of related administrative experience
  • To be able to think critically and solve problems and be resourceful
  • To be confident with technology
  • To be able to work independently and learn quickly
  • To be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite and a fast learner with web applications
  • To have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • To have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • To be based in GMT+1 Time zone and able to accept payments in Naira(Have a naira account).
  • To be able to manage multiple desks simultaneously, and prioritize tasks accordingly while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Good customer service
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • To be able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Professional, responsive and positive work attitude is essential
  • To be able to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
