On Thursday, February 8, 2024, Manitoba sent out 282 invitations to apply for permanent residency. Skilled workers and international graduates were targeted in this round of invitation.

A total of 26 profiles from this MPNP draw were candidates with a job seeker validation code and a valid Express Entry profile.

1.Skilled Worker in Manitoba:

    • Invitations: 151
    • MPNP Cutoff Score: 619

Profiles with a close relative in Manitoba, that made emphasis on family connections as a valuable factor in the selection process were considered in this round. Also, those with close family members in Manitoba that have a Canadian permanent resident or citizen, a long-term resident of Manitoba, and has lived in the province for at least a year were given priority in this round of invitation.

2. International Education Stream:

    • Number of Invitations: 83

Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements of the International Education Stream (IES) were granted invitations, this shows Manitoba’s commitment to retaining international graduates from designated institutions.

3. Skilled Worker Overseas:

    • Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 48
    • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 713

In an Express Entry Draw, Ontario sent out 2,118 invitations for provincial nomination under the Human Capital Priorities (HCP).

Profiles in the Express Entry pool created between February 8, 2023 and February 8, 2024 with a primary occupation in one of the 15 tech occupations and a CRS score within the range of 471-480 were targeted in this round of invitation.

Yesterday, February 6, 2024, Ontario invited 2,086 applicants to apply for provincial nomination in the first Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) stream draw by the OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) for 2024.

For this draw, they invited applicants from 42 healthcare occupations with Express Entry profiles having a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 379 and 430 and a primary occupation under one of the above-mentioned occupations.

This OINP draw considered Express Entry profiles that were created between February 6, 2023, and February 6, 2024, and also met the occupational and CRS requirements for this draw

Applicants who were selected in this draw will have 45 days to respond with a comprehensive application to the province.

In new Ontario Immigration Nominee Program draw announced on Friday, January 19, 2024, a total of 1,654 candidates were invited for permanent residency in a general round of invitation through the OINP foreign worker stream.

Profiles with a job offer in any of the TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupations with a CRS score of 50 or above were considered in this round of invitation.
