Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (The “Terms and Conditions) govern the use of Ese Umoh Immigration and Consulting website and by extension its products and services. This site is owned and operated by EseUmoh Immigration and Consulting Services. This site is an e-commerce website.

By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. If you do not agree with these terms, you are welcome to not use our service. You may also send an email to us at info@eseumohimmigration.com for clarification on any issues that cause you concern. These terms apply to all customers who use our service.

Licensing authority
Ese Umoh is a licensed immigration consultant, practicing in Alberta, Canada with a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant license under the authority of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Ese Umoh Immigration is a private business offering immigration and citizenship consulting services. You can also complete Canadian immigration services yourself by viewing the website www.canada.ca

Communication
If you need to contact us for any reason regarding our products and services, the booking process, or
any challenges accessing your ordered product or service, this communication must be via email to
info@eseumohimmigration.com You acknowledge that our social media platforms are not actively
monitored and any message left on any social media platform may not be seen by our team.

Consultation scheduling
You acknowledge that we have no control over availability of dates, but once you pay for a consultation you will receive access to our calendar to schedule a date that suits your needs. Our calendar will always provide you with our real-time availability for consultations. You further acknowledge that we are not able to reschedule appointments at short notice and cannot guarantee you a rescheduled appointment as any attempt to reschedule an appointment for an earlier date will only be possible if we receive cancellations from other clients. We will regardless do our best to meet your needs in an emergency situation.

Consultation Cancellation
You acknowledge that once an appointment is scheduled and a date and time confirmed, the
consultation cannot be cancelled within 7 days of the appointment. You further acknowledge that the
only way to cancel an appointment is by email to info@eseumohimmigration.com explaining the reason behind the cancellation and sent at least 7 business days before the appointment.

Service Cancellation
A request to cancel a service can only be made 7 days before the service is to be provided. If the service has already been partly provided, then only those parts of the service that are yet to be provided may be cancelled. Any approved refund will be made in compliance with the refund policy below.

Refund policy
Once purchased and used, payment for a product is non-refundable. This applies to webinars, e-books and all ticket/e-ticket items. Once purchased, and an appointment confirmed, a consultation can only be refunded if a request is made at least 7 days before the scheduled date for the consultation. The decision to refund will be made by the firm’s lead consultant. Within 7 days before the consultation, a consultation booking is non-refundable.

You acknowledge that the granting of a visa or status and the time required for processing an
application is at the sole discretion of the government of Canada (or Government Authorities) and not the RCIC. Furthermore, the Client acknowledges that fees are not refundable in the event of an
application refusal. Fees are also not refundable once the invoice has been paid and work on the file has commenced. In the event where work has not commenced, and the client requests a refund, the RCIC will charge an administrative fee for all correspondence and administrative work in the amount of $200 and the rest of the unused fees will be refunded.

If, however, the RCIC or professional staff do not complete the tasks identified under section 2 of the
individual service agreement, the RCIC will refund part or all of the professional fees collected, the
amount to be refunded will be dependent on the services that have been provided. The Client agrees
that the professional fees paid are for services indicated above, and any refund is strictly limited to the amount of professional fees paid. Unused and/or unearned fees will be refunded in accordance with the Client File Management Regulation, the Client Account Regulation and the Service Agreement Regulation of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants and in the following manner: Unused fees will be refunded by electronic funds transfer in Canadian dollars to a Canadian account if sent in Canadian dollars or in the currency it was originally sent in using the exchange rate in use on the day the funds were initially received.

Intellectual property
All content published and made available on our site is the property of Ese Umoh and the site’s creators. This includes but is not limited to images, texts, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our site.

Sanctioned countries
Ese Umoh Immigration and Consulting does not offer immigration services to clients resident in
sanctioned countries.

Confidentiality/Documents retained
In offering immigration services, you will be sometimes required to provide personal documents
including your international passport, other identity documents, bank statements, educational
credentials, resume and other personal documents.
All information and documentation reviewed by the RCIC, required by IRCC and all other governing
bodies, and used for the preparation of the application will not be divulged to any third party, otherthan agents and employees of the RCIC, without prior consent, except as demanded by the College or required under law. The RCIC, and all agents and employees of the RCIC, are also bound by the confidentiality requirements of Article 8 of the Code of Professional Ethics.

The Client agrees to the use of electronic communication and storage of confidential information. The RCIC will use her best efforts to maintain a high degree of security for electronic communication and information storage.

Termination
This agreement is considered terminated upon completion of tasks identified under section 2 of the
individual service agreement. This agreement is also considered terminated if material changes occur to the Client’s application or eligibility, which make it impossible to proceed with services detailed in
section 2 of the individual service agreement.
